FESTIVALS

Culture Night Symbol Black.jpg

Friday 22nd Sept 2023 - 6:30pm

This year we have something for our younger audience. We are delighted to announce that we will be showing the new Cartoon Saloon collaboration "Puffin Rock and the New Friends" for Culture Night this year.

This will be a FREE showing at 6:30pm  but Booking is essential. Book online at www.ticketsource.eu/brewery-lane-theatre or contact 086 127 4736.

We will also be showing a new short film by Sheenagh Geoghegan at 8:45pm - "Our Lungs Were"

“Let's face it. We're undone by each other. And if we're not, we're missing something.” is the opening line of this film. It is from Undoing Gender by Judith Butler. It's a line that I have loved for ages and it perfectly holds everything I wanted this film to hold. It's a film about feeling adrift, heartbroken and lost and it's a film about swimming in the freezing cold waters that surround this island of Ireland.

Made possible with support from the Arts Council and Tipperary County Council.
