For the final PP of 2024, on Friday 13th December, Margaret will have as special guest poet Frank Farrelly, in conversation with Dr. Richard Hayes of SETU. Margaret was at the launch of Frank's recently published second collection, Small Victories, in Waterford on Saturday and there was a packed room for the poetry launch. Among many other awards Frank also recently won the overall poetry prize, the Francis Harvey award, at the recent Allingham Festival with his poem Kim. The conversation between Frank and Richard in Brewery Lane will be followed by Q & A and our usual open mic, tea and chat.

In 1930's Paris, aspiring actress Madeleine is accused of murdering a lecherous producer. Seeing an opportunity for her to finally find fame, she and her lawyer friend Pauline come up with a scheme - she will plead guilty! All goes to plan, until the real murderer comes forward... This is a fun, period caper, but with a sly feminist bite.

We are in the middle of our Autumn Drama Workshops....

Classes run for 9 Mondays with a show on the 10th night.

The cost is €60.00 for the 10 sessions (payable in advance) and classes will be at 6pm for the younger group and 7pm for the older group.

​This annual event is a lovely way to get into the christmas spirit with festive performances from the Suir Valley Choir and the Carrick-on-Suir Brass Band.
