Eleanor Shanley with Mike Hanrahan - 8:15pm

One of Irelands foremost singers, Eleanor Shanley, from Keshcarrigan in Co.

Leitrim in the North West of Ireland, is renowned for her unique interpretation of Irish

and Roots songs. She has been at the top of her profession since her first appearance

as the singer with traditional group De Danann, and subsequently with the inimitable

Ronnie Drew. She has also toured with Christy Moore and Sharon Shannon and as a

soloist both in Ireland and abroad, where she is much in demand at top music festivals.

Tonight she performs with Mike Hanrahan - a singer songwriter and guitarist from

Ennis, Co. Clare. Hanrahan spent fifteen years with Stocktons Wing as songwriter,

guitarist and singer, and ten years with Ronnie Drew as guitarist, writer and producer.

"Strange Fruit" Concert - 8:15pm

Tonight, we welcome to the Tearoom, Waterford-based group ‘Strange Fruit’

featuring the stunning vocals of lead singer Cliodhna Lily. The band also

includes: Suzanne Rowe (piano & accordion), Paul Grant (guitar & banjo),

Gerry Madden (mandolin) and Ritchie McDonald (bass).

 

 

 

 

 

 

There will also be an Exhibition of Art in the Kiln Area and the Tearoom throughout the Festival featuring the Artists : Anne O'Keeffe Camon, Paddy Prout, Marie DeLacy Clancy, Ceara Clancy & Breda Power.
