Attempting to reconcile her complex family history as well as her destructive past behaviours, she takes a job with a wildlife conservation charity - allowing her to connect with the nature of her childhood home.

He sees little joy in his future until kind, open-hearted Hortense enters his shop. The scene is now set for a textbook romantic comedy, where two people - complete opposites, both with past heartache - are undeniably drawn to each other....
