Another chance to attend Brewery Lane Theatre Group's rehearsed reading of poetry and prose by Michael Coady under the performance title "Oven Lane" - this time as a Fundraiser for the Theatre. Michael is a member of Aosdána, a previous winner of the Patrick Kavanagh Award for Poetry and the O’Shaughnessy Poetry Award, he also held the Heimbold Chair of Irish Studies at Villanova University. Our performance will offer a taste of Michael’s writing over the decades, a celebration of the highly personal and yet universal and relatable nature of his work. Compiled, selected and performed by members of Brewery Lane, the evening offers the opportunity to enjoy Michael’s work as spoken word and highlights his achievements at local, national and international level. Refreshments will be served.

Join us for an evening of nostalgia as we present the 1956 American musical romantic comedy film directed by Charles Walters and starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, and Frank Sinatra. Jazz artist C.K. Dexter Haven (Bing Crosby) is still hung up on his ex-wife and neighbor, socialite Tracy Samantha Lord (Grace Kelly), however Tracy is engaged to another man (John Lund). Matters are complicated even further when a magazine reporter (Frank Sinatra), in town to cover Tracy's wedding, also winds up falling for the beautiful bride-to-be. As Tracy tries to decide on the ideal husband, each suitor works hard to convince her he is the best choice.

Theatre Vamps – Waterford’s brand-new theatre company – presents Willy Russell’s hilarious play "EDUCATING RITA".
Frank is a washed-up poet, who now teaches at university to pay for his drinking habits. Rita is a foul-mouthed hairdresser who wants to improve herself despite the objections of her husband and family. Together these two strangers find they have a lot more in common that they think in this hilarious and heart-warming story of literature and friendship. Refreshments will be served.
