A sixteen-year-old girl is forced to leave her baby behind in a mother and baby home. They are never reunited again.
Gas Ticket is the story of both the girl and the baby - what becomes of them and the lives they imagine for one another.

A winner of awards across the world, Giuseppe Tornatore's loving homage to the cinema tells the story of Salvatore, a successful film director, returning home for the funeral of Alfredo, his old friend who was the projectionist at the local cinema throughout his childhood. Soon, memories of his first love affair with the beautiful Elena and all the highs and lows that shaped his life come flooding back, as Salvatore reconnects with the community he left 30 years earlier. Our Spring Drama Workshops have come to an end with a successful showcase!
Classes run for 9 Mondays with a show on the 10th night.
The cost is €60.00 for the 10 sessions (payable in advance) and classes will be at 6pm for the younger group and 7pm for the older group.

MUSIC

Friday 9th May 2025 - 8pm
Following on the success of his first album Paul Tiernan formed a trio with Kevin Murphy on cello and Colm McCaughey on fiddle bringing to the music an unusual sense of melody crossing over the rock-traditional-folk divide.
Paul released his third album 'god knows i love a happy ending' in 2002, an enthralling, swirling mixture of strings and voices and is at the moment working on his fourth album.
Paul has also performed as part of Irish cult band 'Interference' who have been described as being one of the seminal influences on the likes of well known Irish artists, 'The Frames' and 'Mundy'.
